How the track was made

Jiří Burian approached Rohony after creating the series jingle and taking charge of the film’s title song. He connected him with producer Daniel Strejc, who gave the collaboration the green light.

The lyrics come directly from Luboš Hrouzek. Burian composed the music, Rohony chose one version and they finished it together in the studio: an anthem about winning, ego and a mindset in which second place does not exist.

The thought was simple: when you die, you want to have your own anthem.

The single was released on 15 September 2026. The video and launch followed on 16 September.

CSAPLÁROVA PAST

02 / Football × life

CSAPLÁROVA PAST

The track was made in Rohony’s Třebíč studio. Viktor Kal., MDMX and Rohony built it together from the first idea to the final version.

The term, named after coach Josef Csaplár, describes the moment when a leading team feels in control, eases off and rests on its laurels. The opponent can then draw level or turn the match around.

Here, Csaplár’s trap becomes a metaphor for an artist’s life: a lead and success may feel safe, but that is precisely when the result is decided.

DRAK

The collaboration with Rybičky 48 began after Rohony met Kuba Ryba backstage at Máme rádi Česko. He grew up on rock, enjoys mixing genres and connects the band with village culture halls.

The first idea arrived while Rohony was in Croatia. He developed it with MDMX before everyone met in Kutná Hora, added live instruments and finished the track together.

“Drak” means a hangover. The single and video follow on 29 October 2026.

02 / Story

King of the villages.

Music and roots

Rohony broke through with the successful album “Superfly”, the platinum single “U Hřiště 380” and his first sold-out tour.

He created the series “Návrat krále”, returning to his beloved football in his home village of Stařeč. The series also gave rise to his phrase “Zdravím, zdravím, dobré dopo”.

He later wrote “Letná” for Sparta Prague. The track broke the Czech record for the most streams in a single day and went triple platinum. Rohony also co-wrote “Berlín” with Adam Mišík.

Breaking rap conventions is one of Rohony’s defining traits. His work connects village life with rap, community halls with the pace of modern life, and direct storytelling with an energetic live show.

Acting

He has also gradually made a name for himself in front of the camera.

Rohony gained his first acting experience in student films and later appeared in “Oddíl B” by Petr Kolečko and Jan Prušinovský.

He also took on an acting role in “Lajna” and wrote its title track. Music, acting and personality now meet as one natural part of his work.

Origin / 10 in the field

Ten was never just a number on a shirt.
The number that stayed with him

Origin / 10 in the field

Why number ten?

When Rohony played football as a kid, he was fixated on number 10. It belonged to his only football hero, Tomáš Rosický, and represented creativity and freedom.

When he stopped playing, he lost both the sport and, in a way, his number. Music made him a creative midfielder again on a completely different field.

Number 10 returned in another form. There was only one way to keep it with him for good: tattoo it on his face.

Together with Lukáš Zálešák, who shapes the visual identity of his projects, Rohony creates exclusive clothing, accessories and artefacts. These are not just merchandise, but direct parts of each project’s story.

The “Evolution” EP inspired torn jackets, a coat, jeans and swimwear. Quilted vests made for “Australian Open 2016” became a signature visual element.

Their shared world also includes hand-sewn sheets that work as oversized paintings and busts in Rohony’s likeness. Clothing and objects offer another way to tell the music’s stories.
